Like other traditional Swedish Sloyd tools, these US made Sloyd tools from Flexcut are tough and well made.The KN50 Sloyd Knife is razor sharp straight from the box - no need to sharpen first. With an overall length of 190mm and a blade measuring 73mm, this is an exceptional quality knife for whittling, marking, chip carving, detail work and a multitude of other general woodworking tasks.
The tang extends all the way through the quality Cherry hardwood handle and is secured with a brass ferrule for strength and beauty. The core of the blade is made of high-carbon steel which gives exceptional sharpness and edge retention.This Flexcut knife also includes a high quality moulded leather sheath featuring a belt clip, keeping the tool (and yourself!) protected while being within easy reach.NB* Regular honing is recommended to maintain the edge.
